White Sand Beach Perhaps ff-White Sand Beach might be a more accurate name for this otherwise fine strand on Koh Chang (Elephant Island) in the far eastern waters of the Gulf of Thailand. Koh Chang (at 492sqkm the country’s second largest island) is still mostly jungle and mountains plus plenty of safe sandy beaches.

To me markets are the waste spaces between bars and restaurants but my wife could not believe the craftsmanship and value of the primitif embroidery and applique. A less strenuous touch with the spiritual is to get up early and watch the monks collecting their daily rice from devout Buddhist citizens.
