Not to mention easy access to the two airport expressways a great place especially for shopaholics as malls and street markets are only a walk away. 2 tourists in Thailand arrested for using fake ATM cards

A search of their hotel room found 140 fake cards. Christina Marinela Budau 22 and Iuliana Hogas 21 reportedly confessed to police that they had been hired for Bt10000 each by a British friend to withdraw cash in Thailand on the cards and transfer it to the friend. The arrest resulted from a report by a card-theft suppression unit that female tourists had been using fake cards in Hua Hin since February 15. The Thai Commercial Bank was checking if all the cards had been used and police initially charged them with possessing and using fake cards to the detriment of others.

ASEAN citizens will get hotel discounts in Indonesia

"The details on the program will be discussed at the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) summit in Bangkok Thailand in March" the ministry’s marketing directorate general Sapta Nirwandar said on Friday. "ne of proposed programs is to have hotel discounts effective among ASEAN nations. This means if tourists can prove they are citizens of an ASEAN nation they will automatically get a special discount" he added. Sapta said that the hotel discount program had not yet been officially agreed by the ASEAN nations. "But the Indonesian and Malaysian governments have planned to try the program on a voluntary basis.
