“I think this is absolutely wonderful” Pataskala resident Grace Cherrington said. “I love bringing more diversity into the community. “Granville resident Carol Apacki lived in Thailand during a stint in the Peace Corps and like Cherrington she is looking forward to seeing a Buddhist temple built in Licking County. “I think it’s going to bring a lot of richness to the community” said Apacki adding she envisions her friends from the Peace Corps traveling to Pataskala to visit the temple and floating market. The Columbus Buddhism Center recently presented a rough concept detailing the development to Pataskala officials. Group representatives have said they want to complete the temple by July 4 2011. Before she explored yoga she studied human physiology. “I was amazed how much our body can do and that was where my fascination with physical movements began” says the 30-something instructor.
