Bangkok has had its fair share of political excitement in recent months. Anti-government protestors seized the capital’s two international airports on November 25 to December 3 leaving hundreds of thousands of foreign tourists stranded. More protestors went on a rampage in Bangkok on April 13 burning vehicles and clashing with rivals until the army cracked down on the mayhem which prompted travel warnings for tourists from a score of countries.
